Samsung, HTC, LG are just some of the few names of famous smartphone manufacturers but Meizu from Hong Kong is trying to get in the list with its newest product, the Meizu MX. It looks elegant with its white finish at the back but a quick look at its front may cause people to mistaken it for an iPhone 4.
The Meizu MX is definitely a powerful phone. It has a Samsung Exynos dual-core processor clocking at a speed of 1.4GHz in addition to its 1GB LPDDR2 RAM. In its initial release, it will be shipped with a 16GB storage space on board although there are already plans for a 32GB version.
It is powered by Android 2.3.5 although in the future, it will support Ice Cream Sandwich or Android 4.0. As far as camera is concerned, it comes with an 8MP camera with a front-facing 0.3MP camera. It is also heavily customized with Meizu’s Flyme OS which has cloud capabilities although a lot of these features are available in China.
Meizu MX is scheduled to be released on January 1at a price of 2,999 Yuan or equivalent to $470. It is definitely a great high-end phone to have and with all of the specs it has, it will not disappoint its users.
