Sony Cuts Down Tablet S Price to compete iPad3

If, you have not purchased Sony’s Tablet S Android slate till now then you must be lucky as Sony has slashed down its price by $100. There were speculations that the Android tablets will get cheaper in 2012, and Sony has wasted no time for cutting the prices of 16 GB Tablet S from $499 to $399, and the 32 GB model is cut down from $600 to $500.

Five free classic titles for PlayStation are also thrown by Sony along with music unlimited usage of 180 days as well as free downloads and credits from its Video unlimited store. May be the price cut is a little late as the holiday buying season is over. The design of Tablet S was nicely made otherwise this gadget has decent standards.

Competition with Apple iPad 3

Apple’s iPad 3 is coming in a few months and would be a strong competitor for Sony’s Tablet S and other Android gadgets running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. But Sony is also keen to upgrade tablet S to Ice Cream Sandwich in the near future.

Sony’s S has 9.4 inch display with a curved design resembling a rolled back design which is quite convenient for holding. Tegra 2 CPU is the dual core processor with a 5MP rear camera.
