Research in Motion (RIM) has announced two smartphones lately, both powered by the new OS called BBX which is based on the software by QNX systems. Let’s find out more about the two new smartphones, the Blackberry Bold 9790 and the Curve 9380.
Blackberry Bold 9790
Blackberry Bold 9790: The new Bold is powered by 1 GHz processor, has a 2.4-inch capacitive touchscreen, a microSD slot which can support upto 32GB of data. It also supports NFC and 8GB onboard storage. As far as its keyboard is concerned, it is no different and similar to Blackberry’s signature physical keyboard.
Blackberry Curve 9380
Blackberry Curve 9380: The Curve Blackberry gadget supports a 5 mega-pixel rear-facing camera, has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen along with NFC capabilities. Both the handsets are running Blackberry 7 OS and the amazing part about the OS is, it has in-built support for augmented reality applications, Blackberry Protect which is a free online back-up and remote wipe solution service offered by the company, the premium version of Documents to Go, and above all, Blackberry Balance which can be used effectively in companies by managers to create a firewall between company and personal data.
