Enjoy “Android apps” on Blackberry now

Now, Android apps can be enjoyed on Blackberry phones too. As Blackberry does not have enough of its own applications and having Android apps would also lessen the struggle to persuade developers to make Blackberry apps has led to the conclusion that; Blackberry gadgets will now use Android apps.



RIM-Google Combined Initiative



It was stated that RIM would sign a contract with Google’s 250,000 apps and it was later confirmed by RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis. Popular software maker Myriad demonstrated Alien Dalvik software according to which, Android apps can easily run on other platforms. Now, users will see the new features in Blackberry’s forthcoming mobile phones which would entirely be based on a new operating system called QNX.

According to some sources, someone in Waterloo., Ontario has been running ShopSavvy on various Blackberry gadgets. As per the firm, the 8300, 8600 and 8520 models were found running ShopSavy this year. The best part is; incorporating Android apps would not be difficult since Blackberry OS can support Java Virtual Machines which is pretty amazing. But it is still a major question as whether all QNX phones will Android apps or not.
