AMD Fusion Processor Will Soon Release APU

AMD presents a new class of accelerated processors combining the ability to calculate more than any processor in the history of computing.

AMD's Fusion Family of Accelerated Processing Units (Apus) brings together technology, multi-core CPU (x86), DirectX11 capability level discrete graphics are powered and parallel processing machines, a block akseleraasi high-definition video and high-speed bus that speeds data from various types of core processors in a single design.

A new generation of desktop, notebook, and HD-based netbooks AMD Fusion APU is now available at affordable prices. Tablets and AMD-based embedded designs APU Fusion is expected to be available by the end of the first quarter of 2011. New features available include stutter-free HD video playback, a breakthrough in computing power to handle graphics applications are the most popular, graphical capabilities of DirectX 11 and all day battery life.

AMD hopes, a leading manufacturer such as Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba will soon announce their plans to release AMD Fusion APU-based system with a value that is very competitive and at market price.

"We believe AMD's Fusion processors, is the biggest advancement in processing since the introduction of the x86 architecture is more than 40 years ago," said Rick Bergman, senior vice president and general manager of AMD Products Group.

"In one big step we enable users to use the HD anywhere, as well as personal super-computing capabilities in a notebook that has a full day of battery life. This is a new category, new approach, and opens exciting new experiences for users," he said .

High definition content (HD) is now everywhere. Starting from the You Tube videos, DirectX11 game until Blu-ray, the world underwent a number of ways to enjoy this content with the service as its central computer. Thanks VISION machine from AMD, a set of unique abilities on all the computers that supported AMD Fusion APU, the visual side of computing has never looked more vivid and realistic than ever.

Most of the computing experience to connect with the software, until now, software developers limited to situations where the CPU and GPU to process information independently. However, the AMD Fusion APU remove these barriers and mengmungkinkan developers to take full advantage of parallel processing power of a GPU, more than 500 GFLOP to 'Llano' A Series APUv to come, so as to provide supercomputer performance computing to work every day.

More applications can be run simultaneously and work faster than previous designs in the same class.

In addition, AMD's Fusion technology enables the battery lights up a full day, 10 hours or more. This new feature present in the power saver is a single-chip design that extends the time between plug-ins, even while enjoying HD content though. (okezone)
