For the first time, two of the legendary games “Modern Warfare 3” and “Battlefield 3” are competing against one another. Both games are compatible with contemporary gaming gadgets.

It is expected that both the games are going to be among the hit list of industry’s top sellers this year with “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” carrying a price tag of $60. Battlefield 3 has been just recently and it is in demand already. EA’s President Frank Gibeau has right said that it is true that we are shipping in the same boat as ‘Call of Duty’.

The Versions & Success

The success of both the games is at stake since both the companies have decided to release better quality games every year. Call of Duty along with “Modern Warfare 2” which was released in 2009 and “Black Ops” in 2010 has earned $4 billion revenue to the franchise which is pretty good. In an interview, Gibeau said Battlefield 3 has been their most successful release in the company’s 29-year history as during the first week of its release only, five million copies were sold.
