Save PlayStation games to the cloud

This time Sony has decided to utilize all the web resources and now they have added a feature by using which you may save your PlayStation 3 games to the cloud. Cloud here doesn’t mean the sky one. Cloud is a web hosting service which is offered from a network of servers that are connected to one another. These server can be located anywhere in the world like One in New Delhi and other in New York. Now a days cloud hosting is widely in use by all the big websites. It protects them from many DDOS attacks and also offers best uptime.

This is a very nice feature introduced by Sony in its new PlayStation 3 and by using you can save all your running game data to their server. Now you will not loose any unsaved games and you can show off your friends that you have completed X Level of blah blah game.

But this service is not free, you have to pay and it is only available to the PlayStation Plus subscribers. You need to have a WiFi connection to connect to this service.

Lets talk about PS3 features. It has a built-in WiFi and 160GB to 320GB Hard Disk storage varies with model(equivalent to PC hard drive). That’s not all. You can play Blu-Ray Disc too and it offers 3D video audio quality.

So what you can do with 320GB space? You may store

* 2,500 rich, immersive games
* Over 190 of your favorite movies
* 51,200 photos capturing your most cherished memories
* 73,000 songs for you to rock out to

That’s pretty enough. PS3 is priced at $349.99 MSRP (Manufacturer’s suggested retail price). Its accessories are really awesome. This gaming console has something really special in it.

Make sure you have updated to new Firmware version 3.6 and a Plus subscriber to utilize cloud saving feature.(newgadget)
