ASUS K53E-A1 and ASUS K53E-B review and specifications

ASUSTEK has announced two 15.6 inch Laptop in ASUS K53E series, called ASUS K53E-A1 and ASUS K53E-B. ASUS K53E notebook features IceCool Technology to keep palm rests cool, Altec Lansing speakers, Ergonomic Chiclet Keyboard with Extra-wide dust-repellent keys, Turbo Boost technology, and intelligent touchpad with large multi-touch trackpad for prevents accidental input and comfortable cursor control. ASUS is sold this machine with starting price at $658.18 with 2-year limited global hardware warranty and 1-year battery pack warranty.


The K53E-A1 and K53E-B1 laptops is comes with highly durable premium aluminum textures with an elegant color scheme and top lid of the notebook has a textured. ASUS K53E-A1 and ASUS K53E-B has similar specs, the difference is in the pprocessor. The K53E-A1 is sports Intel Core i3 2310M while K53E-B1 is packs with a 2.53GHz Intel Core i5 2410M. Both of them has Intel HD Graphics 3000, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, Intel HM65 Express and 15.6-inch HD LED backlighting display with resolutions of 1366 x 768 pixels.

Other specifications includes Super-Multi DVD or optional Blu-Ray DVD Combo, 2.5 inch 320GB/500GB/640GB/750GB SATA hard disk drive, 0.3 MP web camera, 6 Cells 5200 mAh battery and measuring in 2.83 ~3.49 x 37.8 x 25.3 cm with weight 2.60 kg.
