Aircell Android smartphone review, specs and release date

Aircell, the world’s leading provider of inflight connectivity and a single-source with authorized by the FCC and FAA to use 800 MHz band frequency for inflight communications just announced at the AEA International Convention & Trade Show, their up coming first smartphone, called Aircell Smartphone.



The Aircell is Android smartphone that can be used in wired or wireless mode with specially designed for in-flight use and business aircraft. The handset is offer a large a 3.8-inch touchscreen LCD display, alphanumeric keypad, Integrated audio jack for wired headsets & earbuds, Bluetooth with compatible for hands-free operation and Drop-in replacement for current Aircell Axxess flush-mount handsets.

The device will be running on Android OS (unspecified version), support for several simultaneous voice calls to the ground, and internet browsing sessions. Aircell flight phone also claims if the device is so easy to use no instruction manual is required and will be be fully compatible with Gogo Biz Voice service via the ATG 4000 and ATG 5000 systems that provide better voice call quality than any other aircraft-based phone system.
